Carolyn McBeth has felt honored to follow her childhood dream of beginning a family farm in her hometown of Ames, Iowa. Growing up in an agricultural community, she attended college to further her knowledge of the field and to problem solve prevalent issues in the industry. Her small business is now a staple of her community, and she continues to grow local involvement by advising and co-leading 4-H clubs. One day, Carolyn hopes to pass her business onto her children and keep the farm’s positive legacy alive, especially as her late husband is the main reason the farm became a reality.
